How to measure your face

If you are struggling to put yourself into any of the above categories you can measure your face by using a soft tape measure. Following these steps & listing your measurements in a piece of paper will help you to find your face shape:

  • Measure the length of your face & divide this number by 3.
  • Measure the bottom of your nose to the bottom of your chin.
  • If the last number is larger than the first you could have a long face.
  • If the last number is longer than the first chances are you have a round face.
  • If the last number is equal to the first you probably have an oval face.
  • Alternatively if these numbers aren’t giving you a definitive answer you can measure the length of your face, bottom of nose to bottom of chin, cheek to cheek and top of eyebrow to top forehead and map a quick sketch out onto paper. This should determine your face shape.
